The throttle position sensor is a critical component to the electronic suite that monitors and controls your BMW engine. The throttle position sensors does what the name suggest, monitors the position of the throttle. This is critical for fueling and other metrics that allow your BMW engine to perform flawlessly. A bad TPS can cause an array of performance issues such as idle surging or even stalling.
