BORLA ATAK Exhaust System Features

This system is designed to fit vehicles with and without NPP valves. Please note that the BORLA system does NOT include NPP valves.

The system features an X-Pipe for increased power and adds a great sound. It includes 4″ polished T-304 stainless steel tips for a sharp appearance.

BORLA has developed exhaust technology that allows their engineers unprecedented control over the acoustical note of an exhaust throughout the RPM range, while retaining 100% of the power-adding capabilities of BORLAs patented Multicore design. This technology is called ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), protected by U.S. patent #5,248,859. ATAK produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the BORLA street-legal lineup, tailored for high-performance enthusiasts who prioritize exhaust notes over their stereos.

The primary goal of ATAK is to enhance volume while maintaining clarity of sound, and it avoids the drone and distortion often associated with louder exhaust systems. The sound output is tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves for optimal high-volume output.

Development of each ATAK system begins with detailed analysis of the acoustical properties of each vehicle. The technology utilizes custom-tuned attributes of the internal muffler cores, calibrated on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to deliver the most desirable sound.
